requires 2 m² per person
It works by means of a mechanical-biological treatment in the specially designed
septic tank
(SBR technology -- Sequenzed Batch Reactor) and a supplementary biological treatment
through
the Natural Sewage Plant (NSP).
Similar to the Type 2 the liquid waste flows directly through the filter material
and the solid residue remains in the 1st compartment of the septic tank.
